The hotel lobby is the first thing you see as you enter and make your way up the sweeping stair case to the ballroom. The grand style of the 1920€™s and 1930€™s are recreated beautifully with art deco details through-out.

Guests enjoy pre celebratory canapes and drinks on the marble mezzanine landing overlooking the lobby before entering the ballroom. At approximately 11m*22m the room seats 100 people comfortable with plenty of room between the 12 tables.

The space has the ability to become 3 separate rooms with the use of partitions. When folded these partitions have a visible impact on the room and although cleverly disguised as support beams I felt as though they detracted from the stylish decor. Large mirrors have been effectively used to give the illusion of a larger space and to create an expansive feel that is lacking in a room with no windows.

Main meals alternated between roasted rack of lamb with moroccan eggplant relish, labne & tabouleh salad and the prosciutto wrapped free range chicken breast with soft polenta, green grilled asparagus & olive jus. Both dishes were very impressive, cooked to perfection. rack of lamb main meal royce hotel chicken main meal royce hotel
